Silo Systems receives no content or telemetry, and there is no Silo account. Optional Bring Your Own Key cloud lyrics are separate: they are off by default and send only the text you choose directly to your selected provider after you consent. Model setup and catalog refresh also contact the public model hosts listed in the privacy policy.
You need a connection for App Store delivery, model setup, and a catalog refresh you request. Optional cloud lyrics also require a connection when enabled. Once the required weights are verified, generation and other local workflows run without a hosted inference service.
Mac and iPad use ACE-Step. On the qualified 14-inch M3 Max MacBook Pro with 36 GB memory, the Mac app adds H3 and optional Music3. All three generation engines run locally after setup.
Yes, on Mac. Choose Load Demo Project on the welcome screen. The demo opens with a playable take you can master as a separate copy, compare with the original in Take Lab and export before any model download.
Yes, with ACE-Step on Mac. Ohm Studio supports local LoRA and LoKR training, and the resulting adapters stay in your local model directory. H3 and Music3 do not add training or adapter support, and iPad has no training features.
Yes, as one tool on Mac. After a small model download you approve (about 0.1 GB for the default four-stem model), Ohm Studio splits audio into vocals, drums, bass and other stems entirely on your Mac. If stem splitting is your main job, Ohm Split is the Silo app built for it.
Ohm Studio charges no per-track fee or usage credits, but usage rights depend on the terms of the model you selected and the source material you provide. Review the disclosed model license during setup and use lyrics, recordings, and reference material you have permission to use.
A local Song Brief for genre, mood, tempo, voice, language and structure, mastering that saves a separate take and keeps the original, and 24-bit WAV or FLAC export at the native rate, 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz. Exports can include tags and a production recipe in a ZIP with checksums. These tools are Mac-only; Take Lab comparison also works on iPad.
