No. It records whether source, license, purchase, and project-use evidence is documented or missing. A hash identifies exact bytes and an attachment preserves a document; neither establishes ownership, interprets a license, guarantees permission, or prevents a claim.
Ohms Proof copies only the audio and documents you select into its private app container, then re-hashes each copy before accepting it. Your external originals are never changed. Removing a record removes its app-managed copies, not the originals you imported.
Each imported audio file receives a streaming SHA-256 digest plus its original filename, byte size, duration, sample rate, channel count, and format. If the bytes change—even after a bounce or edit—the digest changes too.
A packet contains verified copies of the selected audio and supporting evidence, a machine-readable JSON manifest, a human-readable Markdown file, and a PDF summary. It includes hashes, timestamps, source details, coverage, project uses, notes, and the product's non-legal disclaimer.
No. It has no provider integrations, credentials, receipt scraping, cloud service, or account. Save the source material you receive, then attach it through the macOS file picker.
No. Ohms Proof has no cloud processing, analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting SDK, or upload path. App Store services remain between your Mac and Apple, and a web link opens only when you explicitly choose it.
