Data not collected.

Photos, projects, meshes, and usage stay on your Mac. There is no account, analytics, telemetry, advertising ID, crash reporter, or cloud inference service.

What leaves your Mac

The only outbound traffic Silo Craft Studio initiates is user-controlled:

Where local data lives

Projects, imported source images, generated artifacts, workflows, local logs, and installed packs use the managed location you choose on first run. The default remains inside the app sandbox at ~/Library/Containers/com.silosystems.silocraftstudio/Data/Library/Application Support/SiloCraftStudio/. Files you save through the standard macOS panel remain wherever you choose. Purge and clear actions run only when you explicitly ask.

Hardware gate

Import, viewing, editing, Part, inspection, workflows, and export remain available below 24 GB. Sculpt geometry requires at least 24 GB plus an installed verified shape pack. RGB generation remains disabled until the exact ≥48 GB path is certified; PBR has a separate ≥64 GB gate.

What is not included

Silo does not upload images to a Silo server. Brief text remains notes—not text-to-3D. The app does not include slicing, G-code, printer control, engineering validation, or a print-success guarantee. Imported textures are preserved in supported formats; STL is geometry-only.
