Silo Skills is sandboxed and starts with access to no folders at all. On the welcome screen, press Select Home Folder… and choose the folder named after your macOS user — not a subfolder. Agents keep their configuration in several dotted directories scattered across the home folder, so the home folder itself is what the app needs. The grant is stored as a security-scoped bookmark and survives relaunch, so you only do this once.
Agents are found by their standard configuration directories under your home folder. If you granted something narrower than the home folder itself, the directories fall outside the grant and nothing is found — re-grant the home folder. If the agent was installed after the last scan, press Refresh in the toolbar.
Eight, by their standard configuration layouts: Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Antigravity (AGY), Pi, Open Agents, Cline and Roo Code. Silo Skills only ever reads and writes inside the home folder you granted.
Neither, until you say so. Divergent means the two definitions share an identity but their contents differ. Silo Skills shows you both and leaves the decision with you — it does not merge, pick a winner, or overwrite anything on its own.
No. It is a measurement, not a verdict. A long skill is expensive to include in every request, so Fleet Optimizer surfaces the weight along with formatting problems, missing parameters and structural inconsistencies. What to do about it is your call.
Yes. Every modification and deletion takes a snapshot first. Open Snapshots & Safety, select the entry from before the change, and press Restore…. Nothing is deleted without a snapshot being written, and Reveal in Finder shows you the archive on disk.
No. Silo Skills ships with no network entitlement at all, so it cannot reach the network even in principle. There is no account, no sync service, and no telemetry.
No. Reading is automatic; writing never is. Transfers, edits and deletions happen only when you initiate them, conflicts are shown rather than resolved silently, and a snapshot is taken before the file system is touched.
Include your macOS version, which Mac you are on, which agents you have installed, and what you were doing. There is no account to look up and no telemetry to consult, so what you tell me is all I have.
