01 · Apple Speech

Transcription never leaves this device

OhmsVoice records from the microphone you grant, then transcribes with Apple Speech set to on-device recognition. If those assets are missing, the app tells you — it does not silently send audio to Apple's servers. Raw Transcript copies the local text and stops there.

02 · Your key, your provider

Polish only if you paste a key

Clean & Concise, Executive Email, Meeting Minutes, and Developer Ticket send the transcript to the provider you selected — OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Gemini, xAI, GitHub Models, or Ollama on 127.0.0.1. No key means no network call. There is no Ohm server in the path.

03 · Clipboard, then done

The result lands where you are typing

Finished text is copied to the clipboard. History stays in the app container on this Mac or iPhone. Keys live in Keychain. Silo Systems never receives audio, transcripts, or keys.

What it does

On-device Apple Speech

Microphone permission is requested with a real usage string. Denied access fails visibly. Verbatim output never crosses the network.

Optional LLM presets

Four rewrite presets send text — not audio — to the active provider. Missing keys say “add an API key in Settings,” not “sign in.”

No Ohm server. No account. No telemetry.

This is bring-your-own-key, not a Silo on-device LLM. Audio stays here. Text leaves only toward the provider whose key you entered.
