The current App Store builds capture meeting audio, transcribe on-device, and create source-cited summaries, decisions, and action items without a meeting bot. They also add live bookmarks anchored to transcript time (Command-B on Mac), export a cited-minutes PDF with evidence quotes and the full line-labelled transcript, stage each recording for recovery before transcription, and support keyboard commands and VoiceOver.
No bot joins your call.
SiloMeet captures system and microphone audio straight from your Mac. No calendar bot, no participant in the room, no recording uploaded to anyone's server. By default, the meeting stays between the people in it.
Summaries you can check.
Transcription always runs on-device. Action items, decisions, and a structured summary run on-device by default through Apple Foundation Models, with an always-available deterministic fallback. On the Mac, an optional Bring Your Own Key mode, off until you turn it on, instead sends transcript text and the meeting title directly from your Mac to the provider you configure. Every action item links back to the exact line in the transcript it came from.
Your meeting memory, private.
A local FTS5 index lets you search across all your meetings and chat across past sessions, on-device by default. Nothing is synced and nothing reaches Silo Systems. Your meetings and questions leave the device only if you turn on Bring Your Own Key in the Mac app.
What it does.
Record locally on the device. On Mac, capture system audio and your microphone directly. No bot, calendar invite, or browser tab to share.
Transcribe with on-device Apple Speech, or opt into a private local MLX model (Qwen3-ASR, about 1 GB, or about 2.5 GB for higher accuracy, checksum-verified) downloaded once with your consent. Engines never switch silently, and either way your audio stays on this Mac.
A structured summary, decisions, and action items, each cited to the transcript line it came from, so you can verify the AI's work.
Press Command-B on Mac or tap Mark moment without interrupting the conversation, optionally label the moment, then review it against the exact or nearest transcript line. Export decisions, action items, owners, evidence quotes, engine provenance, bookmarks, and the complete transcript in one cited-minutes PDF.
