Your code lives on your Mac, whatever your phone displays reaches it encrypted, and nothing routes through us.
Your shell, not someone's cloud.
Cloud dev environments rent you a remote box and hold your code on their servers. Matadoor does the opposite: it drives the Mac you already own. The session is one end-to-end encrypted link between your phone and your Mac. It goes device to device when a direct path exists and through a relay when it doesn't, and the relay can't decrypt it. By default that relay is n0's public iroh relay; on the Mac you can switch to a relay you host or turn relays off. No Matadoor server sits in the path.
Scan, then approve on the Mac.
Pairing is a QR scan plus an explicit approval on your Mac, bound by an X25519 key exchange. Every device must be approved before it can run a single command, and the session is sealed with a per-pairing key. The phone that scanned your Mac's code is the one that's trusted. Nothing else.

Open a full PTY or launch the coding agents installed on your Mac (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor) and steer them from your phone. They run on your machine, as you, with Live Activities and notifications so you know the moment an agent needs input or a run finishes.

Install the free Matadoor Host on your Mac, open its menu-bar popover, and scan the pairing QR with Matadoor. An X25519 key exchange seals the session and the Mac asks you to approve the device. Nothing runs until you say yes.

By default n0's public relays help your devices find each other and carry the encrypted connection when no direct path exists; they see each device's network ID and IP address, never your data. One iroh QUIC connection, encrypted end to end. It goes device to device whenever a direct path can be made. While that path is being set up, or when none exists, a relay forwards the encrypted packets; it sees your IP address, never your data. You pick the relay in Matadoor Host: n0's public relays (the default), your own, or none.
Live Activities.
See an agent's status on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so a long run or a waiting prompt is glanceable without opening the app.
