The short version
OhmsRestore collects no data. None.
No analytics. No telemetry. No account. No personal data. No usage metrics. No advertising IDs. No fingerprinting. No crash-reporting SDK. No recording, processing result, file name, device identifier, or app activity is collected, transmitted, sold, or shared by OhmsRestore.
Analysis, restoration, export verification, and preview all run inside the native app on your Mac. OhmsRestore has no cloud component, helper server, model download, or Silo Systems account. The sandbox includes the outgoing-client capability required for WebKit's system helper processes, but app content has no remote request path.
What we never see
Because OhmsRestore has no server-side component, Silo Systems never receives your name, email, IP address, device identifier, recordings, output files, repair settings, processing ledger, session timing, feature usage, or crash data. There is no infrastructure to receive it.
Files and permissions
OhmsRestore is sandboxed. It can read only audio files you explicitly select through the macOS file picker and can write only to a destination you choose. Source recordings are never overwritten. Restored files and an optional JSON repair ledger are created as new files in that chosen destination.
OhmsRestore does not request microphone, camera, contacts, location, Bluetooth, local-network, or Full Disk Access. If you select no files or output destination, the app cannot access them.
Data stored on your Mac
App preferences and security-scoped file access records remain inside the app's macOS sandbox. Your source recordings remain where you keep them. Restored copies and optional ledgers remain in the folder you choose. None of this data is synced by OhmsRestore or accessible to Silo Systems.
Deleting the app removes the application, but it does not delete source recordings or exported files stored in folders you control. You can remove those files at any time in Finder.
Audio metadata
OhmsRestore supports WAV, AIFF, and FLAC audio. Opaque source metadata chunks are not copied into restored outputs; the app reports that status rather than claiming metadata preservation it has not verified. Metadata is not uploaded or analyzed by Silo Systems.
The network boundary
The interface is bundled with the app and served only from the privateohmsrestore://app origin. Its Content Security Policy setsconnect-src 'none', and the native navigation delegate rejects every external origin. There is no URL-session client, remote content, analytics endpoint, model download, or upload service.
Two actions you initiate can open services controlled by others:
- Mac App Store delivery and updates.Apple handles the purchase, installation, receipt, and updates under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. OhmsRestore does not receive your payment details.
- Links you choose to open. Privacy or support links open in your default browser. From that point, your browser and the destination website control the request; the recording is never attached.
Third-party components
OhmsRestore bundles open-source code that executes locally: libebur128 for broadcast-standard loudness and true-peak measurement, React for the bundled interface, and Lucide icons. It also uses Apple's native SwiftUI, AppKit, WebKit, AVFoundation, and Accelerate frameworks. These components do not receive your recordings or telemetry from OhmsRestore. License notices ship inside the app.
Children's privacy
The same policy applies to every user regardless of age: OhmsRestore collects no personal data.
Changes
If a future version materially changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version is released. Any new collection would be disclosed clearly and would require appropriate consent. The current policy remains: nothing is collected.
