Does OhmsRestore upload my recordings?

No. Analysis, restoration, verification, preview, and export run inside the app on your Mac. OhmsRestore has no cloud service, account, analytics, telemetry, or remote request path for recordings.

Which audio formats does it support?

OhmsRestore reads and writes WAV, AIFF, and FLAC. It creates restored copies in the destination you choose and never overwrites the source recording.

Can it reconstruct every damaged recording?

No restoration tool can recreate information that was never captured. OhmsRestore is designed for clicks, crackle, hum, steady hiss, short clipped peaks, bandwidth cleanup, and level normalization. Results depend on the source and settings, and long clipped passages may be detected but left unrepaired.
