Shift-Command-K captures the main display (Screen Recording is asked the first time). Command-O opens an image file, and Shift-Command-S runs the built-in sample with no permission at all.

Design Tokens is the default and runs on this Mac, as do Contrast Audit and Visual Table. The code presets need a model you connect on the API Keys tab.
Paste or save.
The result is already on the clipboard. Command-S saves it as a file, and History keeps your last 40 runs on this Mac to restore or delete.

Only the code presets (SwiftUI, React with Tailwind, Flutter, HTML, Mermaid, LaTeX) need a vision model: your own API key for a cloud provider, or a model server running on this Mac at 127.0.0.1:11434, which needs no key.
Nothing, for tokens, contrast, and tables. A code preset sends the image, its prompt, and any extra instruction you typed straight to the cloud provider you allowed by name, under your own key, or to the model server on 127.0.0.1. A screen capture is your whole main display minus Ohms Lens's own windows. In version 1.0.1, every preset, including Design Tokens, Visual Table, Contrast, and the Copy Text preset that later versions leave to Silo Snip, sends the image while a cloud provider is active, and a screen capture includes any Ohms Lens windows on the main display. Silo Systems runs no server and receives no copy.
In the macOS Keychain, in items scoped to the app. Never in preferences, history, or output files. Deleting a key also withdraws your permission for that provider.

An sRGB image file comes back exactly. A screen capture, or a screenshot file from a wide-color display, is converted to sRGB first, and that conversion can move a color by a step, a few steps in some very saturated colors.
